The situation
A dairy and food manufacturing organization needed to consolidate its human capital and workforce management capabilities onto a single, modern platform. The existing environment was not meeting the operational demands of a manufacturing environment where scheduling accuracy, time tracking, and HR data integrity are directly tied to production outcomes.
The client selected UKG Ready as its platform of record and engaged RJ Reliance to deliver the full suite of available modules. The scope covered the breadth of UKG Ready's HCM and WFM functionality, requiring close coordination across HR, payroll, and operations stakeholders from the outset.
How we approached it
RJ Reliance structured the engagement under its managed services and modernization model, giving the client access to both implementation expertise and ongoing advisory support through a single point of accountability. The project kicked off on October 14, 2025, with a target go-live of February 2, 2026—a compressed timeline that required disciplined workstream management from day one.
Our team worked module by module through the UKG Ready suite, aligning configuration decisions to the client's manufacturing workflows rather than defaulting to out-of-the-box settings. We ran parallel workstreams for HR, time and attendance, scheduling, and payroll to keep the timeline intact without sacrificing configuration quality.
Change management and end-user readiness were treated as delivery requirements, not afterthoughts. We embedded training and validation checkpoints throughout the project cycle so that the client's team arrived at go-live prepared to operate the system independently.
The outcome
The engagement went live on February 2, 2026, on schedule. All modules within the UKG Ready suite were delivered successfully, giving the client a fully operational HCM and WFM platform configured to its manufacturing environment.
The client moved from a fragmented technology state to a unified system of record within a single, structured engagement. Stakeholders across HR, payroll, and operations gained access to consistent data and streamlined workflows that the previous environment could not support.
The delivery demonstrated that a full-suite UKG Ready implementation can be executed within a compressed timeframe when scope, governance, and workstream coordination are managed with discipline from kickoff through go-live.
