The situation
An RJR client (anonymized) identified a need to modernize its human capital management and workforce management capabilities by moving onto a unified, contemporary platform.
The client's existing environment required replacement with a full-suite solution capable of supporting their HR, payroll, and workforce management processes in an integrated way. The decision was made to implement UKG Ready across the entire scope of available modules.
With no partial or phased scope in place, the engagement demanded careful coordination across functional areas from the outset to ensure a coherent and sustainable deployment.
How we approached it
RJ Reliance engaged the client under a managed services and modernization model, taking accountability for the full UKG Ready implementation lifecycle rather than an advisory-only role.
The team structured the project to address the breadth of the full suite, aligning workstreams across HR, payroll, timekeeping, and scheduling functions simultaneously while managing interdependencies between modules.
Configuration, data migration, and process alignment work was undertaken in close collaboration with the client's internal stakeholders to ensure the resulting system reflected actual operational requirements rather than out-of-the-box defaults.
The outcome
The project kicked off in September 2025 and has since been completed, bringing the consolidated UKG Ready environment live.
The work established a consolidated UKG Ready environment designed to support the client's HCM and workforce management operations on a single, integrated platform.
The delivery reflects the structured approach RJ Reliance applies to full-suite deployments: clear workstream ownership, disciplined configuration governance, and ongoing managed services support throughout the implementation period.
