About the Role:

This Software Development Intern focuses on the following key areas:

• Work with our internal team to facilitate the design, configuration, testing, or deployment of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) solutions for our client partners.

• Take leadership of development areas within a cloud of enterprise software.

  • Work with internal leadership to gather objectives and/or system infrastructure and security needs for the applications.

• Gain meaningful experience in applications and programs beyond their software development use-cases, to create a more holistic experience of a development lifecycle.

• Opportunities to work collaboratively with interns and employees in other career paths on projects, again expanding your internship experience beyond that of software development.

What you'll do:

Core duties and responsibilities may include one or more of the following projects. Other duties may be assigned by management.

• Transform, verify, and transfer data between enterprise systems using a leading Integration. Platform as a Service (IPaaS) software vendor

  • Create two-way data integrations between major enterprise applications

  • Create business rules and solutions to transform data and validate on-the-fly

• Build data visualizations to help business users identify actionable data for business problems using a leading data analytics software vendor

  • Create engaging formats and layouts for presentation of information

  • Build visualization dashboards and widgets

• Automate business processes using a leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) vendor

  • Map and optimize business processes and complex transactions

  • Develop workflow and programs to fully automate key business processes and large volume transactions

• Build a 'full stack' demo which combines the data model, analytics, IPaaS, and process automation

  • Bring together our key technology offerings in a working demo

  • Provide recommendations on leveraging a preferred data warehouse for clients

•   Will receive training and/or certification in one of more of the following:

  • Qlik Sense

  • HelpSystems Automate

  • Dell Boomi. 

Required:

• Active student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering

• Dependable, great attitude and team player

• Excellent and creative problem-solving and analytical skills

• API and RESTful web services experience, Javascript, and JSON.
